Retention Based Storage works the same way traditional cloud storage does. Capacity is purchased and used for as long as data remains stored. There are no per-message fees, transaction charges, or penalties for sending more. Any type of data can be exchanged, including documents, images, and structured files. Receiving data is always included.

Each plan includes a monthly storage allowance for data that is sent and retained, measured continuously and calculated daily. Storage usage increases as data is retained and decreases as it expires.
